The Astra Educational Program™ gives true definition to schooling and curriculum

The Astra Educational Program is a unique educational curriculum designed help our students get their basics in, find their interests and increase their creative abilities by raising their knowledge, responsibility and control.

These three components are the key factors in the success of the program as through a balance of drilling in these areas our students get the experience needed in life to increase their creative potential whether their goal be entrepreneural, college prep, crusader or simply a high school graduate.

The program concentrates greatly on basics. Usually when one mentions the "basics", it is Reading, Writing, Arithmetic etc. that come to mind. However, a few other vital basics are included in our program. These are not traditional academic basics - they are basics involving our students self-determinism and self created interests in life and their willingness to achieve them.

Our educational program is made up of three main levels. Each consisting of programs which result in 100% achievement drilled in small class sizes with high teacher to student ratio.

Astra Level One

This is the foundation on which higher education is built. These subjects and the mastery of them are not quickied as they make or break the future success of our students.

Astra Primary Certification – Academic certification, otherwise known as Primary Education in most systems, this certification represents a professional standard in application of knowledge. Our students achieve a 100% certainty in achievement in all subjects learned and certified.

Astra Sailing – Responsibility training is an all encompassing part of Level One and is drilled in the Astra Sailing organization. This level gives our students the certainty of beingness required to survive in the real world and raises them above the stature of "child".

Astra World Class Sailing Program – Control of the Physical Universe is a vital area of our students Level One curriculum. This drilling is done in a challenging environment of unpredictable circumstances that require our students to rise to a level of competence to confront and handle the real world composed of matter, energy , space and time.

Astra Level Two

This level is a short preparatory level to secondary education (career preparation). It is the level known as Middle School or Junior High School, however, has a singular purpose to prepare our students with vital basics needed for the preparation and understanding of Level Three subjects.

Astra Volunteer Program – Helping others is an attribute that our students gain as part of their educational program. Our students gain a certainty of their ability to help others which gives them a feeling of value to society and a foundation for determining their goals in life.

Astra Vocational Research Project – Our students are given the opportunity to find out about areas of life that they have an interest in for a high purpose in achievement. At Level Two our students research these areas and find out what they need to do to be successful in their goals in life.

Astra Religious Center – The religious influence in raising our cultural standards and the influence of religion on the history and future of our civilization is part of our students education. Our students have an entire library of religious books and recommended reading for their basic understanding of themselves and others. This qualifies Astra Academy as a state licensed "All -Denominational" religious academy by allowing the study of any religion in its curriculum through this religious center, available to our Level Two students. The Astra Religious Center (ARC) is operated as a licensed "Field Group" facilitating the delivery of sanctioned religious technology in Astra Academy as part of the curriculum of our students.

Astra Sailing – With each level of education our students rise in stature by taking on a higher echelon of responsibility in the organization. This group is run entirely by the student body giving the class of students interaction and exchange on a professional level.

Astra World Class Sailing Program – Our students embark on a program to guarantee a high level of confront and competence. This program combines drilling working as a team in survival situations with the understanding of competitiveness in a game and the building of character and good sportsmanship.

Astra Level Three

This level prepares our students for what they have chosen as their immediate vocational career. It consists of several programs to take our students into their chosen field with the knowledge, responsibility and control needed to be successful.

Astra High School Program – This program gives our students the knowledge required to understand the world in which they will participate. It includes a high school diploma as a basic requirement.

Astra High School Career Program – This program outlines and puts our students on the correct subjects needed to be successful in their careers and is aligned with the requirements of a high school diploma.

Astra Senior Apprenticeship Program – This is a work study program designed around our students schedule of academics. With this program our students are able to get started at a professional level working in their careers as part of their educational program.

Astra Entrepreneural Booster Program – This program is for our entrepreneural students who need to get started in their areas and receive a boost in what will help them achieve speedy success. It includes the vital actions used by successful entrepreneurs to out create the barriers to achieving their goals.

Astra College Prep Program – Our students who are going into regulated fields need a professional program designed handle their requirements to take them onto their next step in getting their degrees for licensing for their profession.

Parent Educational Hatting Program – This is a hatting program recommended for the parents of our students designed to keep a working relationship between our students and their parents while attending our academy. It consists of information on the relationship that we have with our students and goes over what our relationship is with parents and our responsibilities to the parents.

Summary

Our basic philosophy in education is that quality in education is always senior to quantity as it is vital that our students achieve 100% understanding of each subject so their I.Q is not left behind in any earlier subject.

Our students are serviced from the viewpoint of their success and we treat our students as customers who come to us for help in getting what they need to be successful in their lives.

We maintain a professional viewpoint with our students at all times and realize that they expect this from us, as educators in our field, servicing them as our clients.
